I’ve worked in telecoms, medical, production, manufacturing, calibration and quality, so I’ve felt that pain as an operator, not just as a developer. I’m shipping working demos, learning in public, and looking for small teams with a real workflow to fix.
Portfolio weight beats empty claims. Best fit: a small team (often a handful of people) still on Excel, Access, or “whatever we’ve always used” — and you know it’s creaking. If the problem’s real, I may build a focused web tool for free (or near-free) in exchange for a case study, feedback, and permission to show the result. Bigger orgs welcome too if the scope is clear; my sweet spot is small business with one obvious pain. You get software. I get proof. Everybody wins. Taking on 2 portfolio builds this quarter.
